Make sure you stir a good amount - the dilution does make this more enjoyable
This drink is incredible - it's going to replace Manhattans for the summer. I thought the vermouth would be overpowering but the balance was actually quite good. I used Martin Miller gin and Carpano Dry vermouth.
Just made this (Bombay Sapphire, Dolin Dry) and it is really nice. I would make it for any fan of a Martini.
This is the gin:vermouth ratio that I like in my martinis, and so for me, it’s the perfect Benedictine-accented martini. It has a light sweet note, but on a hot day, goes down very quickly!
Delicious drink. Definitely stir well. The flavors will meld nicely.
