Any daiquiri recipe that includes honey reminds me of Auntie Mame; as she makes fun of the previous night's host who used honey in his daiquiri. Just then the parents of her nephew's finance invite her into their suburban home to have the marvelous daiquiri (with honey) they learned to make on a cruise.

This makes an awesome slushie for kids, too. I left out the alcohol and they loved it! Very refreshing drink on a summer afternoon.

If you’re worried about seeds, they seem to float to the bottom. No need to do away with them!

cut the watermelon in cubes and freeze. Add cubes to fill blender between half and 3/4 full. Use smirnoff ice original drink which is lime flavored. I started with a half cup and then added most of the bottle with some water to get it to liquify in the blender. You will need to stir from time to time. I like to drink it with a straw.

The proportions seem right. I didn’t have as much watermelon and maybe added a little too much rum. I only had a gold rum on hand. So I do advise using a lot of watermelon and only adding ice little by little. Also careful not to add too much rum.
